Mrs Pam Hicks relives the dances of her youth; waltzing by candlelight in the re-opened Island Hall to the sound of Vera Lynn. This would have been just after the War and, as the original Vera Lynn track cross fades to solo muted violin and sombre piano, we are left with a reminder of how this era affected even our tiny remote island.
